HISTORY

1959

Jon is born to Eddard "Ned" Stark and an unknown mother.

1971

Jon starts his first year in Hogwarts together with his half-brother, Robb, and his father's ward, Theon Greyjoy. The Starks have been Gryffindors for generations, but he's sorted into Slytherin, which is attributed to him not being a trueborn Stark. Eventually, rumors spread that his mother was a dark witch in the North called the Snow Queen, leading to the students calling him Jon Snow.

1978

Jon graduates from Hogwarts and begins Auror training. He is eventually recruited into the Order of the Phoenix.

1979

Jon becomes an Auror.

1980

Death Eaters begin systematically murdering Order members and the war enters its most desperate phase. In response to the brutal murders, the Head of the Department of Magical Law Enforcement, Barty Crouch Sr. authorizes Aurors to use the Unforgivable Curses on suspected Death Eaters and criminals, giving them the license to kill, coerce, and torture.

1981

Ned is framed by the Lannisters and accused as a Death Eater.

1993

» Lyanna Stark, daughter of Minnesota governor Rickard Stark, meets Rhaegar Targaryen, heir of the Westeros Group of Companies, in a fundraiser for the victims of the Great Flood.

1994

» Rhaegar divorces his wife, Elia Martell, and elopes with Lyanna. They run off to Dunsmuir, hoping to have a quiet life together, but their relationship, finally exposed and confirmed to have started as an affair, causes a massive scandal.
» Tywin Lannister, CFO of the Westeros Group, takes advantage of the situation to enact what is essentially a hostile takeover. Aerys Targaryen II, Rhaegar's father and the CEO, is ousted and sent to an asylum on the grounds of insanity, and eventually dies. With Rhaegar disowned and his younger siblings Viserys and Daenerys too young, the Board appoints a new CEO; not wanting to reveal his motives, Tywin offers the position to Robert Baratheon, Lyanna's fiance, as though in recompense, as well as the hand of his daughter, Cersei.
» While attending a summit in DC, the hotel occupied by Rickard and his eldest son, Brandon, mysteriously catches fire, and they are both killed. The incident is reported to be an arson, but the arsonist is never found.
» Eddard "Ned" Stark, Rickard's second son and Lyanna's older brother, decides to begin pursuing a career in politics. Though he and Robert are as close as brothers, the recent events have dampened their relationship some, and they don't see each other for many years.

1995

» Ned marries Catelyn Tully, daughter of Hoster Tully, mayor of Memphis.
» Robb Stark (wolfsnarl) is born to Ned and Catelyn.
» Lyanna dies at childbirth and secretly entrusts her son, Jon (morghon), to her brother's care. Ned passes the boy off as his illegitimate child, but refuses to speak about the child's mother.

1999

» Sansa Stark is born to Ned and Catelyn.

» Robert dies in an accident and his eldest son, Joffrey, succeeds him as CEO. Shortly after, Joffery marries Margaery Tyrell, heiress of the Tyrell Corporation.
» To silence Ned, Cersei has him arrested under false charges of conspiracy, perjury, tax fraud and corruption. Robb and Catelyn come to his defense and take the case to court.
» Jon returns to Minneapolis after being discharged from the military, only to find out that the Starks' family home has been foreclosed and that his siblings have taken up residence with the Tullys in Memphis. With bills to pay and needing to make ends meet, he starts taking up all sorts of odd jobs, but obtaining intel via not-so-legal and not-so-official means — which he'd initially undertaken in order to help Robb get to the bottom of their father's situation — becomes his most lucrative venture.
» Jon reunites with his old pal Dick Grayson (farcry), who has visited the Starks on occasion in the past with Ned's friend Bruce Wayne (menarebrave), and begins working as an informant for him.

2017

» The US Senate proposes the Military Creation Act, which will allow the government to form an army specifically to combat alien and supernatural threats. The Westeros/Tyrell Group is rumored to already have a contract with the government to mass produce their supersoldiers.
» Ned is reported to have committed suicide while awaiting the conclusion of his trial. In actuality, he was killed by one of the Lannisters’ hitmen.
» Jon is contacted by Bruce and invited over to Gotham for dinner, where he's offered a job at Wayne Enterprises. He eventually moves in to Bruce's lake house, joining Wanda Maximoff (control).

» In a last-ditch desperate attempt, the Resistance decides to send K back to the past via Wanda’s powers.
» Jon and K lead a mission to infiltrate one of the replicant labs to steal a unit Danni can program as their own. They successfully bring back a unit, who becomes Jane (forceshadowed), although she's given false memories so she believes she's human.
» Anakin Skywalker defects, with his betrayal leading to an attack on the Resistance base that kills Jon. Wanda loses control of her powers as a result and in the process accidentally blasts K and Jane back to the past well ahead of schedule.

• Count Dooku delivers the Raxus Address, and the Confederacy of Independent Systems is founded.
• The Separatist Crisis takes place. Thousands of star systems leave the Republic and joins the Confederacy.
• The Galactic Senate debates the Military Creation Act to determine whether the Republic should raise an army.

WESTEROS
• Jon Snow and Samwell Tarly join the Night's Watch.
• Rumors begin to reach the Night's Watch that dark forces are stirring beyond the Wall, with Wildlings and even some of their own rangers giving crazed reports of seeing the White Walkers.
• Robb Stark is declared King in the North by his bannermen, seeking vengeance for his father's murder. He is joined by the lords of Riverlands, sworn to his mother's family, House Tully, and attempts to secede from the Iron Throne.

WESTEROS
• The War of the Five Kings drags on. Robb invades the Westerlands to further bleed the Lannisters. The Baratheon brothers parley in the Stormlands but refuse to combine their strength.
• A wight attacks Lord Commander Jeor Mormont at Castle Black, prompting him to decide to meet with his counterparts in the Jedi Order in Coruscant and eventually lead an expedition of three hundred men into the Unknown Regions.

REPUBLIC
• Separatist leaders hope to silence Senator Padmé Amidala of Naboo, who opposes the Military Creation Act. The bounty hunter Jango Fett is hired. He uses Zam Wesell in two attempts which failed. Zam is captured, but Jango kills her to prevent the Jedi from questioning her.
• In exchange for Jedi Order's support to the Night's Watch expedition, Jon is charged with the protection of Padmé, who is to be sheltered in King's Landing by House Lannister by order of Chancellor Sheev Palpatine.
• Obi-Wan uses Fett's Kamino saberdart to trace him to the Kamino system in the Outer Rim. There he finds the clone army commissioned by Sifo-Dyas. He finds Jango, and the two battle. Fett escapes, and Obi-Wan tracks him to Geonosis.
• Jar Jar Binks proposes that Palpatine be given emergency powers to raise an army without the interference of the Senate. The proposal is accepted, and the clone army developed by the Kaminoans is recognized as the Grand Army of the Republic.
• Obi-Wan continues his search for Padmé's assassin. While making a stopover in Corellia to change ships, Padmé receives a report from Obi-Wan and strong-arms Jon into taking her to Naboo, fearing that the Separatists would strike there again. As they spend more time together, the two fall in love.
• Padmé expresses wanting to learn how to use a lightsaber.
• Obi-Wan is captured on Geonosis and sentenced to death. The Clone Wars begins with the First Battle of Geonosis. Mace Windu kills Jango, and many Jedi are killed.
• Jon gets word of Robb's death and decides to return to Westeros; Padmé insists on accompanying him.

WESTEROS
• Robb and his army are betrayed by his own bannermen, House Frey and House Bolton, and massacred at the Twins at a wedding feast which becomes known as the Red Wedding.
• The Night's Watch is ambushed by hordes of wights. Out of three hundred men, consisting of most of the Watch's high-ranking officers and best fighters, only a few dozen men led by Mormont are able to fight their way out, and retreat back to Craster's Keep. Deteriorating conditions there lead to the Mutiny at Craster's Keep in which Mormont himself is killed by his own men, while loyalists and betrayers turn on each other in the confusion. Sam escapes the carnage with Craster's daughter-wife Gilly, and flees with her back to Castle Black.
• Joffrey Baratheon is assassinated with poisoned wine at his own wedding. Joffrey is succeeded as king by his younger brother Tommen I Baratheon, a very young boy. Much more mild-mannered and easily controlled than the crazed Joffrey, Tommen becomes a pliable puppet king for his grandfather Tywin, who as Hand effectively becomes King in all but name.
• Balon Greyjoy plots to opportunistically use the ongoing war as a chance to secede the Iron Islands from the Iron Throne, but instead of allying against the Lannisters, House Greyjoy plans to attack the weakened North in the hope that the Lannisters will reward them by confirming their independence.
• Jon arrives in Winterfell with Padmé, but he's forced to leave her with Bran and Rickon as all surviving members of the Night's Watch are recalled to Castle Black to help defend it against the Wildlings, who are en route to breach the Wall, led by Mance Rayder, a former black brother.
